Root element is missing

Hi All,
I am stuck with this error "root element is missing" while sending an
XML message.
the scenario is as follows:
I have an MLLP receive location that sends an ADT_A01 xml message to
the FILE Send Port.
but the error that i get is the "root element is missing" though the
same scenario works well with the FILE type Receive Location.

Can someone help me on this?

Usually when it complains about the root element , then it is to point out that the message and the corresponding schema are not in sync
