Discussion:
ORU and the MSH segments in my orchestration

Hi All,

I'm needing to access both an ORU and the MSH segments in my
orchestration.
I'm fairly new to BizTalk and might be missing the fundamental way in
which it was meant to be used. From what I understand the MSH, Body
and Z are split in the pipeline. Do I need to create a custom message
schema that will define both the ORU and the MSH?

Many Thanks in advance

Swill,
You need to follow the instructions in the documentation on how to
construct a Multi-Part message that contains the inbound message.
The multipart message contains the follow parts (you must follow the
documentation):
MSH
Body
ZSegments

that are the appropriate message types.

Did you ever get this to work, I'm unable to map the MSH inside an
orcestration, even after building the multipart message and putting it on the
receive port I get the Invalid XML (1,1) message.

The body can be assigned correctly, and the error message, shows the message
in it 3 parts, It just throws an exception if I try to access the MSH or the
Z-Segments.
